How to get there

Direct flights from Perth to Derby and vice versa are available with OZJET who fly a 737 four times a week (Monday to Thursday). Flights can be booked through the Derby Visitor Centre (freecall) 1800 621 426 or you may like to book online at the Ozjet website www.ozjet.com.au
Quantas and Virgin Blue fly into Broome from many major cities. Please see www.qantas.com.au or www.virginblue.com.au for details of flights available in and out of Broome.
Skywest fly into Broome from Perth & Darwin. www.skywest.com.au

Buccaneer Sea Safaris offer and ex Derby as well as an ex Broome option. The ex Broome option includes transfers between Broome and Derby at the beginning and end of the safari. This transfer may be by taxi / minibus / regular bus service depending on how many people choose the ex Broome option for each safari.
Greyhound / McCafferties operate a daily coach service into Derby from Broome and Kununurra. Bookings can be made through the Derby Visitor Centre www.derbytourism.com.au
Derby Bus Service operate a bus run from Derby to Broome and back to Derby three times a week Mon, Wed & Friday. www.derbybus.com.au
Hire cars are available with Avis and Budget as well as several small companies in Broome.

Storage of vehicles and caravans is available through the local caravan parks at a small cost.
It is best that our guests arrive in Derby the day prior to departure to reduce chances of delays due to unforeseen circumstances.
At the completion of the safari, guests can usually be returned to Broome on the afternoon of the last day.
While it is Buccaneer Sea Safaris policy to have every safari to depart and return on time, we cannot be held responsible for delays due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather or mechanical failure.
